Theft from Hayling Station 1937

Portsmouth News  6 April 1942

An impudent Robbery has been carried out at Hayling Railway Station, where one of the automatic cigarette machines has been uncovered from a post and removed. The theft took place after the last train on Wednesday night. As the machine was too bulky to carry far by hand, a vehicle of some kind must have been used.
